Put a space after it? Like before the next sentence?
Also zeppo@lemmy.world. Not a lot of Zeppos out here.
Put a space after it? Like before the next sentence?
It’s irritating that YT added that. The vast majority of people have no idea, of course.
Compared to how long ago? I haven’t noticed any changes.
In my experience, people are generally unaware of current events and history. They don’t understand basic math. They are very poor at critical reasoning and don’t comprehend things like evidence or facts, so they’re easily convinced by hunches or baseless claims prominent people make.

Wow, the pi constant naming inconsistency is terrible.
How much is normally in there? And how?
Oh, I see. Just an idea. I was wondering if maybe they’d block or redirect you.
The prices vary based on how much usable meat there is in the cut vs. bones, and how much work went into cutting it. Wings are mainly bones for instance. It can also be how fast it sells, so the risk the packages will spoil before they’re sold and what quantities they order or produce it in.
You can go to grocery store sites and set your location to a specific store, and look up items.
Anyway I looked it up at my local Walmart (Arizona, US) and boneless breasts are $2.69 a lb, boneless skinless thighs, 3.49, and wings, $1.19 a lb. Ten lbs of chicken leg quarters, $6.50. So it doesn’t seem to have gone up a lot.
I use hyphens a fair bit but don’t even know how to make an emdash in comments. As an HTML element, sure.
Yes, of course. The largest is the Moscow Exchange.
Huh, that’s what a pick me is? I hadn’t understood that previously. I thought it was someone who tried to suck up and pander to people, so I guess about the opposite.
Anyway, I get pretty annoyed at people like that. I’ve had friends who do the opposite, where they’re engaged and silly and energetic one-on-one, then when they get around other people, go into “cool mode” where they’re low key, low energy, and sorta negative about me.
I figured at first it’s some sort of scam. But then, someone mentioned that it could actually be an anti-Nicole operation, like someone with a grudge against her is trying to get people angry with her, and trying to get people to go troll her discord or whatever. One thing I’m sure of is it’s not a normal way for people to interact on Lemmy.
I use it for almost everything. I only resort to Google if I can’t find what I’m looking for, which is rare and typically it’s something obscure. Google has also steadily made their service worse over the years. I don’t feel like I am missing much.
Okay, cool. You filtered it. People post and participate in those discussions because they want to for some reason. I you have something you’d prefer to discuss, go ahead and start a conversation.
With Republicans in charge of both chambers of even one, there’s zero chance.
Not revenge as much as financial motives. He wants less oversight on his business activities so he can make more money and be involved in fewer lawsuits and regulatory actions. There seems to be a broader motive to degrade the US and cause chaos and hardship, which I assume is other Republicans and influences like Putin. Some are probably favors to other interests - for instance, my guess about decreasing park rangers is probably to degrade parks and decrease attendance so they can justify drilling for oil or mining in national parks. The amount of money saved by slashing federal employment is trivial in terms of the budget, so it certainly isn’t that. One thing is that before the election they said they were going to specifically make sure that agencies were staffed with Trump loyalists at every level, so I’d bet when you hear there were cuts at the FDA and the staff said they seemed random, everyone who was fired voted for Democrats, had Democrat supporting social media activity, and so forth.
Cream cheese. Hot sauce. Even just salt
