The Reason workflow was special. It was just like working with hardware. When my windows machine croaked and I moved full time to my Linux laptop, I installed a few things, but Linux was not talking to my ancient audio input interface. Little surprise there, I had been running it with a windows 7 legacy driver. I have not bought a new one yet. That’s it. Had enough going on to not get back to messing with it. I don’t actually have an opinion on any of what I have installed.

Well till my Windows 10 machine died, it was Reason. Reason is an all in one DAW. Program, record, mix and master with super tactile graphics and an intuitive layout. Been two years without. I miss it.

Fuckin 199something, me and a buddy at a bench against the church building that was also our highschool bus stop trying to cut 4 hits of blotter into two 2 squares on a CD case with my pocket knife. Cop pulls up to the building with his lights going and everything. All four hits go on my tongue and I run faster than I ever did before or since and actually manage to get away. Needless to say that a 4 square, then an immediate hard run, that shit hit me like a disco tornado. The night was long, and I was taken on a different adventure every time I ran into somebody and a couple all by myself. Could have turned bad at so many turns but never did. 10/10 fucking awesome night.
