24·2 days agoWait, this means they acknowledge they have to license every character/celebrity/person image that exists on their platform?
One big and important difference for Google and other similar ecosystems is that usually they are free and they profit of selling your data and ads. Proton is different since to use their ecosystem you have to pay to get in so they are not as incitevized to sell data since they already have that cashflow. That’s not to say that can’t change as we all know for profit companies tend to try other means of profit if they can.

It’s a great app just with some quirks. Thank you for your work. Are you the main developer?
Well, since you’re available, I’d like to tell you about another thing that annoys me a bit. Which is when I reopen the app after it has been in standby, it automaticaly refreshes the feed after a few seconds once. Which results in it refreshing while I’m already in the middle of watching the “old” feed content. Does this not happen to you?
Would be great an option to let it refresh feed automatically or not after reopening the app.
The same. With comments or not.
It’s when opening a post to see the comments, going back to main feed, etc. It’s not snappy. The phone is a Samsung (not premium), and is like 4-5 years old.
Blorp is slow for me. I click something and it takes almost a second to react.

They informed users they were getting rid of innactive accounts. But you can still use the account if you pay.
Not saying it was the best decision by them though.
