What a world we live in where not only does something like this happen, but that it’s allowed to happen. Companies don’t even get a slap on the wrist anymore, they can just do whatever they want now without any repercussions, that’s what’s really scary about this.

I can definitely relate to that. I thought I’d be happy at my old job because the pay was so good, but the hours were long and the work was exhausting. I convinced myself taking a lesser paying job would be a step down and make my life worse, but after a particularly bad month I took the plunge and left. I’m making less now, but the schedule is sane and the work hits the right balance between not too difficult but not too easy either.

I didn’t even know there was a second one.

It seems like every time I seen news from the EU, it’s about how they’re frothing at the mouth to give up even more sovereignty to the US in exchange for literally nothing. Can someone living in the EU please explain what’s going on?

I can totally see a scenario where the US government tells them “keep pushing chat control or we’re going to invade Greenland.”

I quit watching all sports, cold turkey, four years ago and haven’t looked back. I feel so much better now and have more free time.

What hell is “snow?”
The irony of the Twitter handle at the bottom.

Right now LibreOffice, Writer specifically. I’ve been getting back into writing big time over the last few months and having a dependable word processor that’s not crammed with AI tools I don’t want and that I know is FOSS has been great.

I love how in a year where we get great and unique movies like One Battle After Another, It Was Just an Accident, Weapons, and Caught by The Tides, Hollywood looks at them, shrugs their shoulders, and says “I don’t know, another Mummy I guess?”
I just want a picture of a got-dang hot dog.
