I meant more so if you want to hold a consistent conversation with someone, not just because it was a slow response. Also there are many people who prefer to call. If i call a friend and they dont pick up, they’ll just hit me back later, just the same as if they didn’t have time to respond to my text in the moment.

Yea thats fair. I’m an on call worker and also an emergency contact for customers so I’m actually relieved if its just a friend calling me randomly instead of the boss or a customer. Now that I’ve thought about it, whenever i wanna discuss plans or details with a friend i usually send them a text asking them to call me when they can.
Or the mans is working and can’t be on the phone all day, or his mom called, or literally a million other excuses. If you want instant and consistent responses, call them.
I’d expect my real friends to call out my bullshit
If they are renting and denied a mortgage then i think its safe to assume they haven’t bought a house
Fixer uppers are better the less you give a shit. For example mine i will be sealing the basement and redoing the bathroom. Aside from that i don’t give a fuck about the dated walls and floors. I don’t care about the kitchen cabinets or the stains on the counter top.
Not at all. It is priced into the rent but it is not priced into a mortgage, so you can’t compare them dollar to dollar accurately when determining monthly expenses.
The fixed rate is usally offered for 3-5 years, at which point you must remortgage your house.
Although on paper this seems dumb, there are other factors. Is the rent inclusive of utilities? Property taxes are a factor. Generally when renting appliances and repairs are taken on by the landlord whereas a mortgage the owner. My previous rent and current mortgage are about the same, however now that I pay utilities, property taxes, and some repairs I’m paying on average extra $600, or a 50% increase (rent/mortgage about 1200) , in housing costs.
The bank is also factoring in what would happen if interest rates went up significantly.

1·8 days agoI wouldn’t really consider that 2 seperate systems. If your front brakes leak you’re still gonna end up losing pressure to the rear. Its pretty much just enough to pull over if you clue in to whats happening

1·8 days agoWhen did seperate hydraulics start being common? Most of the vehicles ive worked on have one hydraulic system with a proportioning valve to control pressure, usually with more braking power going to the front.

Also upbringing could significantly impact the development, or lack of, coping skills for individuals. A kid with autism growing up in an environment where they can develop skills to help manage their autism may grow up without ever knowing they were autistic. Same coud be on the reverse where stricit restrictions could reduce the coping skills and exacerbate some of the difficulties that come with autism.
