  • Yeah sure, it’s a never ending story if you start to make your own modpack. Dunno if i would start again.

ESO does have controller support. Many ppl actually play with one on pc. However they manage that,i just suck with controllers. I only played the beta too for a bit and just tried again a few months ago. It really aged fine. With just a bit of effort (or spending bucks for shortcuts) you can be in the endgame very quickly. If one does desire to. Also, mods make it a lot better. There aren’t as many as for skyrim, but that’s good 😁

  • Never tried the modpack, always did my own. Which ends up playing more in the modmanager than the game, but the results are epic and exactly what I want.

Besides. You might wanna give ElderScrollsOnline a shot. Even if you hate MMOs. It’s a ton of ES, a bit of skyrim, and massive totally voiced content. Even some many good quests, not just the kill x of y and get back to do more of it.

Also it’s the most anti-social social game ever 😁 Yet still having a very mature and helpful community.

  • As you’re obviously no american, you also know that even if you’d pay netflix (for the FULL price i might add) you only get a fraction of what they got and not a penny discount for it. Sorry, but no. If you want my money, OFFER ME SOMETHING. Or discount me. That is just robbery.

So, you at least need a server for the whole work. A pi could do it, although you might not expect stellar performance off of it, but it would get the job done I assume. Except maybe live transcoding if that’s necessary (like watching 4k uhd content on a 720p phone or so).

So min-spec would be the combined min-spec for all services. As they probably also run on linux (i use win-20xx-server) it really should do.

    You’d need:

    • The **nars you’d want (radarr=movies, sonarr=series, bazarr=subs, lidarr=music etc. and there’s even one for porn lol)
    • a downloader, either usenet (prefered for speed and comfyness) or torrent. So SabNZBd or qtorrent or whatever
    • If usenet, then you’d need a usenet-account (use one with the highest retention (backlog) like eweka.nl (if you wait for black friday or so, they usually have BIG discounts) and probably an indexer (the search-engine kinda). Like 10 bucks a year if you pay only yearly or like 30 lifetime, depends on service. I’d advise for nzbgeek, they’re cheap and nearly 100% net a result. You could also go for free ones, but they’re always very limited. Probably more than enough for 1-2 movies a week or so. sucks if you want a series with 400 episodes :-)

    And of couse:

    • a media-server. Like Plex or Emby. I personally love emby, i even pay them just because (and for some minor benefits). You could also go for the free jellyfin, but it’s more hassle to setup and i didn’t get it to work reliably (and i’m a fucking pro)

Maybe, if you want to access everything from the outside and don’t want that machine to be totally exposed:

    • some (reverse)proxy like nginx or caddy. I Prefer caddy, it’s fire&forget like all others mentioned here. Once setup though.

I admit, it’s a bit of tinkering and configuring, but once it’s working it’s fine. The *narrs auto-update reliably, emby does too. Occasionally you might manually update sabnzb and restart emby after an update, but that’s it.

I even integrated everything with telegram so I get notifications when someone added/moved/deleted something or stopped playing or whatever else. completely smart-home-integrated too.

if you have more questions, just hit me :)

I’d take MS 10x in the butt over Crapple taking over the desktop-market completely. You know what no-competition means for us, yes? And no, Linux is NOT an alternative for everything for everyone. And there probably never will be a linux-desktop-for-the-masses coming right into your supermarket/pc-store.

They don’t act on intellect. They just do without knowing what they’re actually do. If a dog kicks over your vase, do you see malignant intent? Is the ant-colony going to war for survival acting on greed or lust or the desire to spill blood?

Do they rape because they despise women? Do they kill because they love the control? Do they build political systems made to opress the dumb and/or weak? Do they actually have crab-mentality like we do? Do they actually destroy the planet for their own desires to own as much stuff as possible?

I probably could go on for ages but you get the picture. We do most things while knowing better. We do horrible things, even though we know what others feel. We do most things with intent and knowledge.

We might be innocent as long as we’re a toddler crawling around the world, knowing nothing. But now we buy cheap shit made in china, knowing very well that we keep horrible slavery running this way. We know and we ignore. Examples are legion, but you live on this planet too, so you know.
